POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded accounting professional with strong Payroll, Human Resources, and Accounts Payable experience. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in an accounting/office environment and the ability to manage confidential information, work independently, and support multiple functions.

HUMAN RESOURCES

• Maintain HR systems, employee files, onboarding, and employee exits.
• Manage annual benefits open enrollment and ongoing relationships with benefit providers.
• Administer 401(k), FSA, and DCA plans.
• Maintain and update the employee handbook.
• Provide support using Microsoft Office and related software.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

PAYROLL

• Process weekly payroll , including verification of hours, direct deposits, taxes, and benefit deposits.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and state payroll reporting with third-party providers.
• Maintain payroll reconciliation files and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Certified Payroll and/or construction experience preferred but not required;
• Sage 300 CRE payroll experience a plus.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

• Process general/office invoices and subcontractor invoices, including retainage.
• Support job costing, budgets, lien waivers, and certified payroll , particularly for government contracts.
• Process AP, credit card, and job-costing transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5–10 years of accounting, payroll and HR experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and supporting software.
• Ability to work during core business hours with additional time as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, discretion, and follow-through.
