Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge)
• Perform procedures including port access, IV start, venipuncture, nasal wash, Foley placement, and EKG
• Conduct point-of-care testing including troponin, lactic acid, and urine dip
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, mid-shift RNs, unit clerks, and EMTs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
• CPEN certification and/or ultrasound-guided IV competency
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience
