Certified Nurse Assistant

Celina, TX – Settlers Ridge Care Center is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. Your role will involve working an 8‑hour shift providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to superior clinical, rehabilitative, and supportive care. Job Responsibilities Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort, in line with community policy. Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents. Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of each shift. Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans. Assist in implementing care plans within the parameters of established policy and procedure. Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required. Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies. Be capable of performing moderate to heavy lifting. Ensure that equipment is clean and functional. Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Complete other duties as assigned. CNA Requirements State certification as a nursing assistant. Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant. Highly developed observation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
