Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide urgent nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient services and safety. The RN will work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced trauma setting, following established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients conditions promptly upon arrival and identify urgent needs.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests accurately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information and care details comprehensively in Meditech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Support patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatments.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with state licensing board.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Meditech EMR experience is required.
  
  
• 
  Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
