Position: Barista The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking friendly, dedicated, and creative Baristas to provide guests with a high‑quality coffee and tea experience. Responsibilities Be a warm host – guide guests through their coffee experience from beginning to end, providing exceptional guest service throughout. Create coffee moments – share your knowledge of our coffee and sustainability practices with guests. Be a coffee & tea expert – bring passion, receive training, and share it with guests. Generate new guests – many guests shop online, but the store is where we meet many for the first time. Care about safety – make safe, healthy employees and guests our top priority. Contribute – keep the store tidy, organize stock, innovate new ways to do things, take initiative with tasks and ideas, and add to overall success. Both indoor and outdoor environments Extreme cold – temperatures below 32 °F for periods of more than one hour. Extreme heat – temperatures above 100 °F for periods of more than one hour. Noise – sufficient to require shouting to be heard above ambient level. Hazards – proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
