At Monokian Dentistry, we’re looking for a Dental Assistant who has some dental knowledge or experience and is ready to continue learning and growing.

You don’t need to have every certification or years of experience. We’re looking for someone who understands the basics of dentistry or has had some exposure to a dental setting and, more importantly, is positive, dependable, motivated to learn, great with people, and takes pride in doing things well.

We provide plenty of hands-on training and mentorship to help you build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and continue developing as a dental assistant.

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to create an organized, comfortable, and exceptional experience for every patient.

Depending on your current experience, we’ll continue training you to:

• Assist our doctors with a wide variety of dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and keep appointments running smoothly

• Anticipate what your doctor and patient need

• Take dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans

• Educate and communicate with patients about their care

• Use advanced dental technology

• Help maintain accurate patient records

• Work closely with the entire team to deliver an outstanding patient experience

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with some dental knowledge or experience who is excited to continue developing their skills.

• Have previous dental assisting experience, dental education, or exposure to a dental office

Dental licenses and certifications are not required to apply. A current New Jersey dental X-ray license, Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential, or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential is a plus, but we’re willing to invest in the right person and help them continue developing their skills and credentials.
