Senior Specialist, Production Planning

Senior Specialist, Production Planning Entegris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Production Planner to join our Materials Management team at our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in aligning production plans with customer demand, ensuring on-time delivery, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain. This position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) and the option to work out of our Round Rock, TX office one day a week, if preferred. Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Monitor production performance and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, and shifting priorities. Analyze production and planning data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements. Partner cross‑functionally with manufacturing, logistics, and customer service to ensure alignment on production and delivery goals. Maintain accurate planning data, schedules, and key performance metrics within ERP systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness. Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, risks, and priorities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑mix manufacturing environments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory management best practices. Outstanding Candidates Will Have Experience with SAP (PP/MM modules strongly preferred). APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP). Benefits Generous 401(k) plan with employer match.
