Quality Control Inspector - Night Shift

Job Summary National Pipe & Plastics is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform quality checks on the production floor. Job Responsibilities Evaluate samples of incoming materials Assist with and perform physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings Inspect plastic pipe and fittings during processing and upon completion Use saws to cut test samples Distribute reports and test results as necessary Use hand measurement tools such as calipers and dial gauges Perform quality control line checks Pull samples from the floor Complete other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis Job Requirements High School diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training/certification; alternative related experience accepted At least 1 year of related experience (preferred) Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and external stakeholders Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office software Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
