Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience handling customer inquiries via phone and email
• Experience processing customer orders and order entry
• Ability to manage a high volume of emails and incoming calls
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to prioritize work and perform effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based applications
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a distribution environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Inside sales or order management experience
• Experience working with third-party vendors and suppliers
• Experience handling product returns and exchanges

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing professional support throughout the order process. This role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring a positive customer experience from initial contact through delivery.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while supporting company sales and service objectives.

Job Duties:

• Manage a high volume of incoming customer emails and phone calls
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions and requests
• Provide product information and pricing quotations
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Generate and distribute order acknowledgements
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Monitor orders and communicate status updates to customers
• Initiate returns and exchange processes while maintaining service standards
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure customer deadlines are achieved
• Maintain accurate customer and order records
• Support departmental goals, metrics, and customer satisfaction initiatives
