Quick Facts • Location: Greenville, SC • Start Date: 07/03/2026 • End Date/Duration: 07/06/2026 (with possibility for extension) • Shift: 24-hour call shift (schedule to be confirmed) • Hours/week: 36+ (based on on-call requirements) • Employment Type: Locum / Temporary • Licensure/Certifications: Medical license in South Carolina; Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery preferred • Experience: At least 3 years in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular surgery Pay & Benefits • Pay rate: $19.50/hour • Weekly Pay Schedule via direct deposit • Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) • Robust referral bonus program • Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable • Paid sick time in accordance with state and federal laws What You’ll Do • Provide hospital rounding and surgical procedures including aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and heart valve replacement • Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team • Assist with emergent and scheduled cardiovascular surgeries as needed • Document all procedures accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff • Follow all facility policies and safety protocols What You Need Required: • Medical license in South Carolina • Board Certification in Cardiovascular Surgery or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of relevant surgical experience • Ability to perform complex cardiovascular procedures Preferred: • Experience with hospital rounding and surgical care in an acute setting • Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, providing critical cardiovascular surgical services.
