As a dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures in a professional and compassionate manner. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans that address both immediate concerns and long-term oral health goals. Perform various dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries with precision and care. Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and medical records management. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation standards. Stay current with advancements in dental technology, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry. Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients and understanding their unique needs. Skilled in performing complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health care. Experience using digital dental imaging systems and managing electronic health records efficiently. Knowledge of infection control standards aligned with OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe clinical environment. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while providing compassionate care. Certification or licensure as a licensed Dentist in accordance with state or regional regulations is required.
