About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year License: Certification as a Surgical Technician is required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Neuro, Robotics, Plastics, General, and GYN Description: This position is for a backfill contract for a CST in the operating room. The contract duration is 13 weeks. The work schedule involves day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call shifts are required, with a minimum of 4 to 5 on-call shifts per 6-week period. Associates will perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, mastectomies, and DIEP flaps. Ideal candidates should have experience working in multiple service lines such as orthopedic, neuro, general, and robotic surgery. The successful candidate should be flexible, self-directed, and possess a positive attitude. Attention to teamwork is essential, as staff members collaborate to ensure optimal patient care. Scrubs will be provided, but closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required.
