Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilization as needed
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and hospital teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the EMR system
• Adhere to quality, safety, and patient satisfaction standards
• Participate in departmental meetings, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Alabama
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
