Supervising Pharmacist
East Alabama Mental Health Center
The Supervising Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations in compliance with Alabama Board of Pharmacy regulations. This role ensures accurate dispensing, regulatory adherence, audit readiness, inventory management, and effective workflow execution. The Supervising Pharmacist provides leadership across a multidisciplinary team and maintains high operational standards with minimal oversight. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Regulatory Oversight - Serve as the designated Supervising Pharmacist in accordance with Alabama Board of Pharmacy rules and statutes; ensure full compliance with state and federal laws. Licensure & Credentialing Management - Maintain current pharmacy permits, pharmacist licenses, technician registrations, and all credentialing documentation; ensure timely renewals and accuracy. Operational Independence - Work autonomously, identifying and completing required tasks without supervisory prompting.
