Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Title

Duration: 0-9+ Months (Contract) Shift: 8 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities

Review validation reports and/or first article submissions for new supplied components.
Assist in coordinating across technical disciplines within the organization, suppliers, joint venture partners and/or OEM partners.
Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of problems involving the approval of suppliers' components into manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated ability to implement Mechanical Design/ GD&T into complex parts.
Demonstrated technical, front end engagement with electromechanical, machining, sheet metal and/or plastics suppliers
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to Supplier Quality Engineering (i.e. metrics, data entry, log parts)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline
3+ years of relevant experience, primarily focused on the design, manufacturing, and quality of component parts
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum)
