Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to provide elementary resource services for the 20262027 school year near Rockford, Illinois. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while collaborating with a supportive educational team.
Responsibilities:
Provide special education services in a resource setting
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations.
Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.
