TravelNurseSource is working with Aptiva Corp to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Council Bluffs, Iowa, 51501!

A facility in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking its next amazing RN (Registered Nurse) for 13 weeks assignment to work in Medical Surgical unit. Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience required. 

Facility Details:
Unit - Med Surg Ortho 
Trauma Level: 3
Shift: Nights, 12*3, 36 hrs./week
Charting System: EPIC
Beds: 28 plus 22 overflow
Ratios: 1:5
Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Self-scheduling
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend- Friday and Saturday are considered the weekend for nights
Floating Requirements: Will float to PCU and McDermott (behavioral health)
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Navy BlueFloating to ICU but would only take stepdown patients unless have ICU experience.
Types of patients: Total knees, total hips, should replacements, COPD, diabetes, wounds, IV infusions, dementia, oncology, fractures-hips, ankles; sepsis, pneumonia, cholelithiasis, ambulatory dysfunction, appendicitis, acute respiratory distress, CHF, dementia, ETOH/drug abuse

Minimum Requirements: 
Certs: BLS
Active RN License required
Must have 2 years experience required. 
Radius rule of 50 miles is applied.
