What You'll Do

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB hospitalist coverage in a high-acuity setting
• Manage OB triage for unassigned patients and private physician requests
• Respond to maternal-fetal medicine patient transports (~5-6/month)
• Assist with cesarean sections (average 0-3) and postpartum inpatient rounds
• Conduct gynecologic emergency evaluations in the emergency department
• Participate in shared rounding with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Coordinate care supported by a Level III NICU, 24/7 Neonatology, Anesthesiology, Pediatric, and OB hospitalist teams
• Work alongside GYN surgical on-call services for gynecologic emergencies

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license in California or eligible for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB-GYN
• Excellent clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist/OBM experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
