About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Compliance and Testing to take on a pivotal role in directing and managing the entire testing, safety, and compliance process across all operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for team leadership, ensuring retail partner compliance with strict rules and standards, and overseeing all aspects of audit and testing management. This includes factory compliance audits, safety inspections, testing reporting, and social audit monitoring. The role also involves systems utilization, directing the management of various specialized retailer compliance systems and internal ERP software. Applicants must have extensive, specialized experience within the children's apparel industry, with a deep functional knowledge of major retailer vendor requirements, particularly those of Walmart and Disney. A proven track record in managing factory social audits, product safety testing, and global supply chain compliance is essential. Proficiency in industry-specific ERP software and retailer vendor portals is required. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, lean, family-owned business culture, and should be adept at ensuring absolute adherence to compliance rules, safety standards, and factory regulations.
