Patient Services Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support both our Main Street and Harbour View locations. This role is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. The PSR will also provide general administrative support and assist with clinical duties as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet patients Check in patients and assist with individual concerns as they arise Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balances Perform administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / CRITICAL SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment Patient-focused with the ability to work independently Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
