Seven Healthcare are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment in Allied, OH. This role focuses on central sterile processing and requires maintaining and preparing medical instruments in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Cleans and decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical equipment following manufacturer's Instructions For Use (IFU).
• Inspects, assembles, packages, and sterilizes medical devices following manufacturer's IFUs.
• Operates automated washer, ultrasonic, cart washer, and sterilizers according to manufacturer's IFUs.
• Inspects surgical instrumentation during tray assembly to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
• Pulls surgical case carts for add-ons and/or emergency cases.
• Effectively communicates with other staff members to facilitate all instrument and supply needs in a timely manner.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of all areas of the department and signs off on cleaning log and product out-dates.
• Other duties as necessary to facilitate the functions of the department and hospital.

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

• 2 years of Central Sterile/Sterile Processing experience
• Must have prior travel experience
• CBSPD or HSPA certification (Required)
• BLS (Required)
