This contract to hire opportunity is tailored for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist seeking to work with K-12 students and collaborate with fellow professionals to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
• Active Illinois SLP-CCC license
• Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
• Ability to work with a diverse caseload covering a range of speech and language needs
• Exceptional communication skills and the desire to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment and therapy services to K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with state guidelines
• Deliver both individual and group therapy in a school-based environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
