We focus on excellence and are committed to support and develop our teams! PURPOSE Fontainebleau Opa-locka, a Skyservice company, is accepting applications for Facilities Attendants. Under general supervision, Facilities Attendants perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair of the facility; and perform related duties as assigned. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Performs various maintenance functions in carpentry, plumbing, heating and airconditioning, custodial, painting, and minor electrical repair. Inspects air conditioning and heating units to ensure efficient operation; diagnoses electrical and mechanical malfunctions and makes necessary repairs. Install, assemble, relocates, and repairs office equipment, including clocks, appliances, and furniture. Does rough carpentry work associated with remodeling offices and buildings; repairs drywall, plaster, roofing, doors, and broken tiles; repairing windows, paints, stains, and patches; building and installing furniture and cabinets. Troubleshoots and maintains plumbing systems, toilets, faucets, and drains in building. Performs minor electrical repairs, including lighting, light fixtures, and pumps. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED High school diploma/GED required; Valid driver’s license required; Good communication skills; Excellent customer service skills; Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset; Ability to lift up to 50lbs; Ability to safely use and climb ladders; Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Be at least 18 years of age; Legally entitled to work in the United States; Must be able to successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and other background checks necessary to obtain an airport restricted area pass. SCHEDULE Sunday to Saturday – 8 to 10 hour shifts. Must be available to work statutory holidays as required.
