Dental Assistant - St. Petersburg, FL | Fee-for-Service Cosmetic Practice

Our well-established, private fee-for-service dental practice in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant / Front Office team member to join our close-knit team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-end, patient-focused environment where quality care and long-term relationships are the priority.

Our practice has served the community for over 35 years, with many patients returning for 15+ years. We pride ourselves on a calm, organized environment, low patient volume, and a strong, supportive team culture with minimal turnover.

Schedule
Full-time

• Monday – Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Thursday: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM (no lunch)
• One half day per month on Friday (administrative)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during general and cosmetic procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs using Dexis
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
• Support front office operations including scheduling, patient communication, and coordination
• Help ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience
• Dental Assistant certification required
• Experience in a general or cosmetic dental practice preferred
• Strong chairside skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to support both clinical and front office duties
• Experience with PracticeWorks (preferred)
• Professional, team-oriented, and patient-focused mindset

Pay & Compensation

• $21-$30 per hour (based on experience)
