Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Includes night and weekend on-call rotations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid certification with BOTH DORA and NBSTSA required
• Previous experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the operating room setting
• Transplant and/or spine surgical experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Capacity to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control practices
• Monitor patient safety throughout the surgical process
• Support surgical teams with transplant and spine surgeries, adapting to the specific demands of each case
• Participate in pre-operative setup and post-operative clean-up, including instrument sterilization
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and communicate efficiently with medical staff
