• Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures to confirm specimen accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to blood collection and patient information.
• Create a welcoming and professional environment that promotes trust and confidence with patients and staff.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and dress code requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Travel and work at multiple locations as needed to cover various patient service and in-office phlebotomy sites.
• Exercise good judgment and make decisions based on established procedures to ensure quality and safety.

Required Skills

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric blood collection techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, team members, and supervisors.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in specimen collection and record keeping.
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center or similar environment preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
