Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient Classroom Paraprofessional to support a special education classroom where all students have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves working closely with the teacher and support staff to provide structured, consistent, and individualized support to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom-based support to students with ASD
• Assist the teacher with instructional activities and lesson implementation
• Support students with communication, social skills, and daily routines
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and reinforcement systems
• Assist with transitions and maintaining classroom structure
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with ASD or special needs preferred
• Paraprofessional or related experience is a plus
• Patient, consistent, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow behavior plans and instructional guidance
