Financial Analyst II

In our Finance division, caregivers use their knowledge and skills every day to provide exceptional experiences for patients and their families. As a Financial Analyst II, you will analyze financial operations and information to provide decision support to executive staff. In this role, you will support the organization's 10-year financial forecast, develop and maintain three-statement financial models (balance sheet, cash flow statement, and income statement), perform advanced Excel analysis, utilize Strata for forecasting and financial planning activities, and support financial analysis and forecasting efforts across the organization. A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with onsite work every Tuesday at the Independence West Creek location. Position requires residence in the greater Northeast OH area. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Prepare, analyze, and communicate key financial information. Provide support to management and other caregivers regarding financial reporting and related issues. Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial reporting. Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and two years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience OR Associate's degree and four years of experience OR Master's degree and one year of experience OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow and one year of experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master's degree Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification Healthcare experience Strong Excel skills Experience/exposure to accounting and financial concepts, including balance sheets SQL/coding experience Strata experience Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment. In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system. In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary: $47,530.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $72,475.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
