Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking a Locums BoardCertified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to provide coverage in a trauma andacute care neurosurgery practice with an elective component at an ACS-verifiedLevel II Trauma Center on the South Texas Gulf Coast. This opportunity offers aflexible block schedule, strong APP support , and the ability to work ina modern, state-of-the-art facility while enjoying a coastal lifestyle.

Position Highlights

• Trauma and acute care neurosurgery with elective case volume
• ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
• Supported by a full-time, experienced Advanced Practice Provider
• Per diemn opportunity with 4-7 flexible, 24 hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement

Practice Setting

• New, state-of-the-art hospital
• Advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
• Accredited Stroke Center with strong subspecialty support
• Collaborative, team-based environment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APP support
• Ensure high-quality patient care and documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & Benefits

• $4600 Per Shift
