Risk Assessor / Toxicologist | Environmental Management

ProSidian is seeking a Risk Assessor / Toxicologist for Environmental Management. This is a full-time position on an exempt contract contingent basis, located in the CONUS, covering ten states: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The role supports a federal agency within the Department of Defense, focusing on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction across the Missouri River Basin.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the Environmental Management Sector, with expertise in toxicology and risk assessment, and knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards. The individual should have a four-year college degree in toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science/engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of professional experience in environmental risk assessments and mitigation actions.

Responsibilities include evaluating environmental risks, assessing exposure levels, and developing risk management strategies. The candidate should possess knowledge of toxicological principles, regulations, and methodologies, as well as related physical and natural sciences. Proficiency in project management, leadership, and communication skills is essential.
