This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving dental practice known for its commitment to patient care and a friendly working environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled individual who can contribute to our dynamic team. This is a 3-4 day per week position, located at our well-equipped facility, and requires in-person attendance as it is not a remote job. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients and supporting our mission to offer the best in oral health services.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct oral examinations and assess oral health conditions
- Perform scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
- Evaluate patients’ oral health and report findings to dentists
- Document treatment plans and care performed on patients
- Maintain patient recall system, including scheduling and follow-up for future appointments
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety guidelines
- Valid dental hygienist license in Arizona
- Laser certification
- Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) certification
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience as a dental hygienist
- Detail-oriented and a high level of dexterity
- Ability to work as part of a comprehensive dental team
- High proficiency in dental software and computerized office applications
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Capability to converse with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work 3-4 days per week in a single general dentist practice
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism
