Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Bronx, New York. This role involves working in a 10-hour evening shift from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a meal break included, totaling four 9-hour shifts per week. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position demands strong ORTHOPEDIC (ORTHO) and NEURO experience, along with robust EYES (Ophthalmology) background. Previous level 1 or level 2 trauma experience is preferred. The healthcare provider will be expected to perform scrub and circulate duties, and the assignment may include weekends and holidays as needed.

• Experience: 2 years in operating room nursing, with strong experience in orthopedic, neuro, and ophthalmologic procedures. Previous level 1 trauma experience is highly desirable. Candidates must have scrub and circulate skills; HCP does not require transplant or robotics experience.
• Additional Information: The role includes working weekends and holidays as needed. Additional shifts will be paid at the regular rate. The facility prefers candidates with prior teaching hospital experience and familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.
