Shift Leader
A Shift Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
Position Type: Full-time and Part-time available
Compensation: $18$21 per hour, depending on experience

Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the director team in all aspects of shift management
- Lead a positive working relationship and treat all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Hold yourself and your team members accountable to the restaurant policies and standards.
- Ability to open and close the restaurant while managing systems.
- Addresses guest issues that may arise using the HEARD model, and consults with your director regarding complex issues.
- Support and influence the restaurant's overall operational and financial goals.
- Lead, train, and support the focus areas of the "WHED" Strategy: Operational Excellence, 2nd Mile Service, and Attentive & Friendly Team Members
- Solve problems that could impact the shift
- Run all breaks for the team
- Track labor, cash management, food safety, food quality, and safety & security.
- Assist with daily catering
- Count tills, complete InFORM & daily deposits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Flexible availability
- Must be 18+ years old
- Minimum of 25 hours a week
- Able to open &/or close the restaurant
- Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
