About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience managing patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, telemetry, or progressive care units. Candidates must have EPIC EMR/charting experience. A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is required. Experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years is necessary. The RN will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience. The expected patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:5-6. Responsibilities include providing care to populations in medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The RN is expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. A commitment to working 36 hours per week, which includes 3 shifts of 12 hours, is required. Every other weekend work is expected.
