We are a family owned business that puts integrity, passion and pride into all of our client relationships.Following the acquisition of Pink Dumpsters by Pellitteri Waste Systems, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within our Milwaukee division.The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused operations. This position combines leadership, logistics coordination, customer relations, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will work closely with drivers, dispatch, customer service, and sales teams to support continued growth and service excellence. We offer:Competitive weekly payPaid time offFree and low-cost Health Insurance options, dental and vision insurance401k plan, with a generous match of up to 4%Company 100% paid short term and long-term disability and life insuranceResponsibilities: Evaluate and improve dispatching and routing practices to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and logistically sound operationsRespond to general sales inquiries with support from the sales and customer service teamsConduct accident investigations and assist with corrective action and safety initiativesManage relationships with key accounts and address customer service concernsProvide leadership, coaching, and operational support to drivers and field personnelMonitor daily operations and identify opportunities for continuous improvementServe as a working manager when needed, including assisting with route coverage and completing occasional loadsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulationsQualifications: Active Wisconsin driver's license requiredValid CDL Class A or B license requiredExperience using routing and dispatch softwareProven leadership experience managing and supporting driving staffStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience in waste management, transportation, logistics, or a related industry preferredWilling to undergo a drug screening in accordance with local law/regulationsAbout Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc.:Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. provides commercial and residential waste recovery systems, as well as confidential document destruction at the customer site.
