The compensation range provided reflects the salary for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) role. Actual pay may vary based on assigned hours and employment status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview

Salary Range: $318,000.00 - $578,681.00

We are currently looking for a Neurologist specializing in Movement Disorders to join our committed team. Our healthcare system serves a varied patient demographic throughout central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. With facilities located in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, we provide care to individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, including underserved communities and families from both urban and suburban areas. Our services encompass all age groups, ensuring comprehensive medical care from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Opportunity Details
  • Evaluate complex medical conditions by reviewing patient histories, conducting examinations, and performing neurological assessments.

  • Advise patients on aftercare and long-term health management plans.

  • Track patient progress and modify treatments or medications as necessary.

  • Prescribe appropriate treatments or medications to enhance patient health.

  • Order diagnostic tests and analyze results to identify optimal treatment options.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and complete all required documentation for efficient billing and claims processing.

  • Participate in training and seminars to remain informed about the latest advancements in neurology.

  • Engage in the on-call schedule promptly and responsively.

Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)

  • Completion of a Neurology Residency

  • Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Frequent physical activities include: standing, walking, bending, reaching forward, wrist position deviation, fine motor tasks, and repetitive keyboard use.

Occasional physical activities may involve: sitting, climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), carrying objects, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching overhead, squatting/kneeling/crawling, and sensory tasks such as tasting or smelling.

Continuous physical activities include: talking and hearing.

Weight lifting requirements: 10 lbs. from floor to waist; 5 lbs. at waist level and above.

Sensory requirements include: accurate near vision, far vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and hearing.
