Our employee‑owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.In the role of Environmental Section Lead, we'll count on you to: Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportFunction as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilitiesTake administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsBe directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issuesSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelManage and develop multidiscipline teamsWork cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsAbility to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, research, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsExperience supervising staff, leading field teams, and preparing proposalsExperience in regulatory permit coordination and agency consultation (ex. USACE, USFWS) Experience in nature-based solutions and constructed wetlands.#LI-KT1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceA minimum of 10 years experience Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role Strong communication and listening skills Ability to handle multiple assignments Good leadership and organizational skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
