Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting a variety of complex cardiac procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. This position requires at least one year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Job Details:

• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Call is required for 24-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, typically one weekend per month.
• Required Qualifications: Active Arkansas (AR) nursing license or compact license, at least one year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP, cath, and structural cases such as ablations, EP studies, device implantations, lead extractions, cardioversions, and various cath procedures, including Left and Right Heart Caths, transvenous pacing, Impella insertion/removals, Watchman procedures, valve interventions, PFOs, and ECMO.
• Call Expectations: Schedule includes four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with limited call shifts to approximately seven days per month, including one Friday-Sunday weekend and four weeknights. Weeknight call hours are 5:00 pm to 6:30 am; weekend call hours are 5:00 pm Friday to 6:30 am Monday.
• Case Types and Load: The laboratory operates three rooms simultaneously, with a typical daily volume of 5-6 cath procedures in the cath rooms and 2-5 procedures in EP rooms, depending on procedure type and situational factors. The number of cases can vary daily due to add-ons, physician availability, and other unpredictable factors.
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting multiple procedure types and a flexible case schedule across three laboratory rooms.
