As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Culpeper, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies, verifying authorization and maintaining required documentation.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Possess CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
