Exciting Opportunity for a Maternity Nurse!

Job Description:


- Be part of a dynamic team with rotating 12-hour shifts, primarily nights with occasional day shifts.
- Flexible scheduling every 6 weeks, ensuring every third weekend off.
- Engage in a fast-paced environment at a 100-bed community hospital.
- Experience a unique blend of maternity care including:
- Level 2 Labor & Delivery
- Post-partum and pediatrics
- Opportunity to circulate; scrubbing skills are a bonus!
- Deliver care using advanced equipment, including:
- Phillips fetal monitoring
- IV pumps, ICU medical Plum 360, and epidural pumps
- Glucometers for precise patient care
- Participate in 600 annual deliveries within a supportive, nurse-guided staffing ratio per AWHONN standards.
- Collaborate within a 19-bed L&D, PP/Mother baby, and Pediatric unit, with access to an OR for cesarean sections.
- A comprehensive orientation of 2 days will prepare you for success.
- Work in a prohibition zone for gel or fake nails, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Required certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NRP, with a strong preference for C-EFM.
- Epic experience is essential for effective patient management.
- Bring your passion for maternal-child health and your NH or compact state license.
