This role offers direct exposure to complex accounting matters, financial statement reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Investor Relations, and external auditors.You will work on quarterly and annual filings (10-Q and 10-K), earnings materials, and other regulatory disclosures, contributing to the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of Lennar’s financial reporting.This role is well-suited for a Big 4 audit or public company reporting professional seeking deeper exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting within a Fortune 500 environment.What You’ll DoLead and support preparation of quarterly Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and disclosuresAssist in preparation and review of earnings releases, investor presentations, proxy statements, and other external reporting deliverablesPrepare and review SEC filings including 8-Ks, S-3s, S-4s, and other required disclosuresPartner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and audit coordinationPerform quarterly financial analysis, variance explanations, and trend analysis to support executive and investor reportingConduct and document technical accounting research related to complex transactions and evolving U.S. GAAP/SEC guidanceEvaluate new accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting and disclosuresSupport preparation of Board and executive reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial messagingMaintain and enhance financial reporting workpapers, disclosure support files, and internal control documentationDevelop and improve reporting tools, Excel models, and process efficiencies to enhance accuracy and reporting timelinesSupport ad hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives within the external reporting functionWhat You Bring (Required Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field4–7+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) and/or SEC reporting within a public companyStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with ability to interpret and clearly communicate financial resultsHands-on experience with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) or equivalent audit/advisory exposureStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in technical documentationAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight reporting deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordWhat Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)CPA or active CPA candidate strongly preferredBig 4 audit, technical accounting advisory, or SEC reporting experience highly desirableExperience supporting public company reporting cycles and external audit coordinationFamiliarity with tools such as Workiva, BlackLine, JD Edwards, Essbase, or ReportsNowExperience drafting or reviewing financial statement disclosures and SEC comment responsesExposure to executive-level or Board reporting materialsStrong technical accounting research and documentation skillsProcess improvement mindset with a focus on automation and reporting efficiencyIndustry experience in homebuilding, real estate, or construction a plusWhy This Role is DifferentDirect ownership of key components of SEC reporting and external disclosuresHigh-impact exposure to executive reporting, audit coordination, and investor-facing deliverablesOpportunity to build deep expertise in technical accounting and public company reportingStrong development path into external reporting, technical accounting, or controllership rolesOpportunity to influence reporting processes and drive efficiency improvementsLocationThis is an in-office position based in Miami, FL.Life at LennarAt Lennar, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our Associates, offering a comprehensive array of benefits designed to enhance their well-being and professional growth.
