The Role Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality imaging results
• Maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain updated on modern ultrasound imaging techniques and advancements

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
