Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a general ultrasound position requiring 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

Fri-Sun schedule from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
36-40 guaranteed hours weekly with variable weekend hours
Back-up call required
Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed, including Sanford
200-bed facility
Equipment includes Philips Epiq and GE E10 ultrasound systems
Epic EMR used

Requirements

ARDMS certification required
License required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3-5 years preferred
Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references required

Additional Information

Any scrub color accepted
Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local, with a reduced bill rate
Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
