Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Riverside, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM Wed 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM Thu 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access control points by verifying identification, credentials, vehicle information, and/or delivery documentation before allowing entry or exit in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle entry records, and communicate clearly with staff, guests, and transportation personnel regarding site access procedures. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
