Driver - Mental Health Worker Children's Residential Program Job Category: Residential Treatment Requisition Number: DRIVE001287 Full-Time Location Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, USA Description Gemma Services is currently seeking a Driver-Mental Health Worker for its Children’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program. Job Summary Responsible for providing transportation for children and families to various appointments and destinations throughout the community in a safe and secure manner; responsible for providing excellent care and services for children as a direct care worker on the units. Coordinates work within the department as well as with other divisions and departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information. Responsibilities Supports the mission of Gemma Services by providing individualized support, being data‑informed, and helping others know they matter. Provides transportation for children and families to various appointments and destinations throughout the community in a safe and secure manner. Provides services as a Mental Health Worker for the children serviced by Gemma Services. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed to promote a workplace free of harassment and other forms of discriminatory behavior. Is knowledgeable, cooperates, participates, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other divisions and departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Communicates with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activities. Responds to inquiries relating to their area or to requests from other staff within given timeframes and established policy. Manages email: regularly checks and responds to emails in a timely manner. Monitors notifications: stays updated on notifications across electronic health record and Gemma Services platforms for important messages and alerts. Disseminates information: shares relevant updates and communicates with team members to ensure everyone is informed and aligned. Organizes tasks: prioritizes and organizes tasks based on deadlines, responsibilities, and communication. Documents: maintains records of all required documentation for reference and accountability. Supports collaboration: facilitates communication between departments and colleagues, participates in meetings or discussions as needed. Performs tasks that are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. Education and Experience Driving/criminal record must meet current insurance company and Commonwealth guidelines and regulations. A minimum of one (1) year of related experience is normally required. Qualifications Education Required High School or better. Preferred Bachelor’s or better.
