Environmental Services Technician - PRN - Mercy St. Francis

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well‑being. Position Details This role requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. It involves following written and verbal instructions, performing manual tasks, and providing customer service while interacting with the public. Minimum Qualifications Education: None. Experience: None. Preferred Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
