Mechanical Engineer - Midland

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design equipment for assembly and testing of our products Manage projects for creating new processes and equipment design as needed Be proactive at solving problems and learning new techniques to increase production safety and efficiency Support day to day manufacturing activities Perform other work-related tasks as assigned Collaborate professionally with team and peers JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to do occasional travel. Some international travel may be required Have experience working in manufacturing environments. Proficient using CAD software Applies creative thinking to develop innovative and effective solutions Demonstrates self-driven initiative and curiosity in identifying and solving problems Taking responsibility for work ethic and actions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Strong work ethic and detail oriented Team player with ability to work well in cross-functional teams Strong communication skills Self-starter willing to take on complex challenges Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environments ESP experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr National Oilwell Varco
