About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing required. License: Active state or compact nursing license required. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH, TNCC, PALS, CPI (or Avade) required. Must-Have: - Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted. - Medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis. - Float required within scope of practice. - Every other weekend required. Description: Current experience of 2 years or more is required. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory. Additional certifications required include NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Avade. Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice. Flexibility to work every other weekend is required. Ratios can fluctuate based on census and call-ins. Travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer. References are required from one Charge Nurse or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year. Background checks must be submitted upfront, including any license hits or issues. Compliance documentation is due the Monday prior to the start date.
