Research Administrator II

Independently managing the administrative and financial components of large-scale sponsored projects, the full-time Research Administrator II will support principal investigators throughout the award lifecycle in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities: Plans, manages, and oversees the administrative and financial aspects of assigned sponsored projects, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation Develops and reviews proposal budgets, coordinates submissions, and monitors financial health and compliance of projects Serves as a liaison among investigators, central research offices, and stakeholders, facilitating communication and project execution Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience Two or more years of experience in research administration, grants management, or financial administration Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and compliance for sponsored projects Experience with project management practices, including planning and risk identification Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
