Job Title: QC Inspector Job Description

The QC Inspector joins the quality control team and plays a key role in ensuring that manufactured parts meet required standards throughout the production process. This position works across general assembly and machining areas, performing inspections at various stages to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

• Perform quality inspections on parts in both general assembly and machining departments throughout the production process.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming materials.
• Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify dimensions and measurements against specifications.
• Carry out random inspections of assembled items to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.
• Record inspection data accurately and maintain detailed documentation of findings.
• Follow established quality control procedures and inspection protocols to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production staff to communicate quality issues and help resolve problems promptly.
• Ensure that all inspections are completed in a timely manner to support production schedules.

• At least 1 year of quality control or inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience performing QC / inspection duties on manufactured parts.
• Strong proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Ability to perform accurate visual inspections and identify defects or irregularities.
• Capability to record and track inspection data with attention to detail.
• Comfort working across multiple departments, including general assembly and machining.

• Previous experience in a fabrication or industrial manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with quality control processes for assembled products.
• Basic understanding of production workflows and manufacturing operations.
• Strong focus on accuracy, reliability, and consistency in inspection work.

This role is based in a non-air-conditioned fabrication shop that manufactures pool filter casings. You work on-site in an industrial manufacturing environment, using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges on a regular basis. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a four-day work week and potential for overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riviera Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Riviera Beach,FL.
